Hello, I'm Anjali. backends that scale I build backends that scale, apps that feel right and systems in the cloud.

I study Software Engineering at UPC, 7th semester and top fifth of my class. My skills are in backend development: REST API design, Domain-Driven Design and architectures that stay stable as the system grows.

Most of my projects were built as part of a team: a multi-tenant API for vehicle credit, two real-time AI hackathons and mobile apps in Flutter and Kotlin. I work with Spring Boot, Angular and Docker on Azure, and I am looking for a backend development internship.

How I work

As a team

The projects I'm proudest of were built with others. I'd rather split the work well than do it all myself.

Clear communication

I explain technical decisions without unnecessary jargon. A well-stated problem is already half solved.

Critical thinking

Before choosing an architecture I ask what real problem it solves. If it can't be justified, it doesn't go in.

Leadership

I organize the work, track progress and clear blockers. The team finishing matters more than me standing out.

Three screens of the YachAI app: the welcome screen with the Yachi mascot, the adventure map The Magic Forest, and the evaluation of a correct answer.

YachAI

An offline AI reading-comprehension tutor for rural primary schools in Peru. Gemma runs on the teacher's laptop and students connect over the local network. Built as a team for the GDG Lima AI Competition; I owned the mobile app foundation.

A live Multix session with three candidates in parallel, each with their camera and code editor, during the hackathon.
AI-generated candidate report: summary, evaluated criteria and evidence-backed findings.
Challenge editor: statement, starter code, test cases and a pre-publish checklist.
Featured project · The Next Craft Hackathon

Multix

Live technical interviews with up to three candidates at once: real-time code, each candidate's status explained in plain words, and AI-generated reports backed by evidence. I owned the app routes, the candidate and interviewer components, and the in-browser code runner.

Finalists in Lima: one of two teams selected out of roughly thirty, at a hackathon held in parallel across Peru, El Salvador, Guatemala and Colombia.
